This month, we have worked our way through the main parts of our new purpose statement. Week 1= Fellowship/Love; Week 2 = Discipleship; Week 3 = Service; Week 4 = Worship

Project Serve : 8.22.10

Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who made our first service project a success! So many of you gave up your Sunday afternoon to come down and work on several important projects. Here are a few pictures from the day...

Salute to a Hero

There are no words that could express the deep admiration and respect that we all have for Michael Stansbery. The love and devotion that he displayed for his family & his friends, his God, and his country were a testament of how we should all seek to live.

It is only fitting that this be the first post on the Cook's UMC youth blog, as Michael will forever be thought of and loved as part of our family here at Cook's UMC. Michael, our wish for you is a peaceful sleep.
